Why would you use Microsoft Outlook?  Not only is Outlook a useful program for keeping track of contacts, but it allows you to schedule appointments and meetings, track and assign tasks, keep up-to date journals on projects, exchange information with others, and automatically document customer and vendor follow-ups.

Keeping up with many different people via phone, e-mail, or fax, can be done through Outlook effortlessly.  Locate a contract quickly, by name, by Company, or by whatever triggers your memory and have Outlook dial the phone for you, or send electronic mail messages once the contact's been located.  It's like having an efficient assistant right at your fingertips!  The only thing required to accomplish this is a modem, and Internet access.

Want to plan a meeting and get responses quickly?  The meeting feature of Outlook is especially helpful.  You can schedule a meeting electronically and track responses, check whether the request has been received, and whether it has been read.   If the meeting is accepted, Outlook automatically places it on yours and the invitees' calendars.
