CALLING ALL SENIORS!

Help someone you know become self-sufficient on the computer.  Do you know someone who is advanced in age and afraid to use the computer?  They probably feel left out because they think that they are the only ones who don’ t know anything about using a computer.

We have a new class designed just for seniors who feel incompetent when it comes to computers.  In our class they will learn to become comfortable with using the mouse.  They  will learn basic computer technology so that it doesn’t feel as if those around them are speaking a foreign language in regard to a computer.  They will learn all of the basics of programs such as opening and closing programs, opening, editing and printing documents, and sending and receiving e-mails.  Understanding what folders are and how to manage them will also be covered.

The training is fun-oriented and geared with those in mind that are easily intimidated by the computer; so that they will not only learn about the computer, but they will have a good time doing it!

 WE MADE IT!

We have made the Houston Book of List published by the Houston Business Journal for the fifth year in a row as one of  the "LARGEST HOUSTON-AREA COMPUTER TRAINING COMPANIES".

IC3 INTERNET AND COMPUTING CORE CERTIFICATION

Yesterday, it was reading writing and arithmetic.  Today, we've added computing and Internet skills to the list of fundamentals. Educators and employers alike are calling for greater computing literacy among students and potential employees.  And while there are many ways to gain these skills, there has been no universal, standardized method for measuring basic computing competency.  That is, until now.  IC3 is a standards-based certification program for basic computing and Internet literacy.  It provides specific guidelines for the knowledge and skills required to be a productive user of computer hardware, software, networks and the Internet.  By establishing this vendor-independent standard, IC3 provides a reliable, universal measure of basic computing aptitude.
